This filesystem is mounted on /transfer on all clusters and on scitas-transfer.epfl.ch

Features#

  • Accessible from outside of the EPFL network through fdata1.epfl.ch as long as you have a SCITAS account.
  • Low storage capacity (20 TB total)
  • Low data retention policy of 30 days

Usage#

This filesystem is an exchange space for users outside of the EPFL network.

Data are not meant to stay on this filesystem, so make sure to move them to their final destination quickly.

The policy we used for this filesystem is the same as the one we use for /scratch regarding data retention and occupancy limits
