Prices#

The rates that will be applied for the use of the SCITAS' infrastructures (clusters and storage) can be found here

Note

You need to be either on the EPFL network or connected to the EPFL VPN service to open the previous file.

The rates are defined by computing the yearly direct and indirect costs divided by the total usage or up time (details of the computation can be found in the aforementioned document). The rates are put into three categories:

  • U.1: contains only the direct costs related to operation of the infrastructures. People belonging to an EPFL laboratory will be billed according to this category.
  • U.2: contains the direct costs related to maintenance of the infrastructures.
  • U.3: contains all the direct and indirect costs.
