New Archiving Service Now Available#
We are happy to announce the launch of our new archiving service, designed to provide long-term low-cost storage for your research data.
Accessible from the frontend nodes of our Izar and Jed clusters, this service utilizes a reliable magnetic tape system to ensure your data is preserved for a minimum of 10 years.
Key Features#
- Easy Access: Follow our user documentation and transfer your data to
/archive. There’s no need to request activation; the system is ready for use. - Pay-per-use: You will only pay for the space you occupy.
- Low-cost: The price of archiving will be significantly lower than the standard storage price on
/workor/export. - Daily Transfers: Data will be moved to tapes daily for long-term storage.
We are also announcing that for one month, the archiving system will be in beta test mode and free of charge for users. This is an opportunity to try out the service at no cost.
